✅ Introduction

On my third day in Huế, I wasn’t feeling well—probably due to some raw vegetables I had eaten the day before. I spent most of the day battling stomach pain.

That morning, a close friend of 17 years took me out for breakfast. He brought me to a small corner shop tucked away in an alley, where they served a dish called Bánh Canh.

🍲 What is Bánh Canh?

Thick, soft noodles cooked thoroughly. Crab meat dumplings and a soft-boiled quail egg. And the golden broth—gently simmered—seeped quietly into my weakened body.

Huế is known for many delicious dishes, but for me, Bánh Canh is the one I love most.

📍 About This Place

The shop is located at 01 Trần Cao Vân, Huế. Out front, there’s a sign that says “Bún Bò Huế MỸ TÂM”, but the noodle shop itself operates under the name VUI—a local eatery offering Bánh Canh with crab dumplings.

Although it doesn’t appear on Google Maps under the name “Bánh Canh,” the place does exist and serves locals every day.

The flavor was so mild yet so deep—it was exactly what my body needed.

💬 A Message on the Wall

As I sat down to eat, one bold red message on the wall caught my eye. I assume it was written by the owner of the “MỸ TÂM” shop.

A sign on the wall of MỸ TÂM restaurant in Hue, featuring a heartfelt message wishing for one customer to return 1,000 times, rather than 1,000 customers to visit just once.

We don’t wish for a thousand people to visit us once. We wish for one person to visit us a thousand times.

Reading those words struck something quiet and powerful in me.

🔗 A Connection to NOMAWAYS

The name NOMAWAYS was born from a similar belief—not about reaching as many people as possible, but about reaching deeply into the heart of just one person.

It’s not about numbers. It’s about relationships.
About trust that brings someone back—not just once, but again and again.

And here, unexpectedly, in a humble shop in Huế, I found words on a wall that aligned perfectly with that very philosophy.

✍️ Final Thoughts

Perhaps the message wasn’t written by the owner of the Bánh Canh shop at all. Even so, to me, that morning’s bowl and those words are forever intertwined.

Sometimes, a simple message seen by chance gives shape and clarity to the path we’re walking.

And perhaps, what makes a place unforgettable isn’t just the taste of the food—but the feeling that stays long after.
